General Overview
- Ishgardian by blood though he was born in Garlemald two years after his brother, Remy, and parents had moved to Ilsabard.- Treated as an outsider alongside his brother though the two joined the military in an attempt to gain respect. Remy succeeded moreso than Saulden but was able to gain him a promotion by vouching.- Saulden was later promoted to Centurio following the untimely demise of his older brother and later transferred with his unit to another Castrum, where he would meet his close friend, Marius.- Later escaped Garlemald with Marius, starting their lives anew in Ul'dah with Saulden pledging his military experience to the Immortal Flames, working his way up to the rank of Captain following his efforts in the Bozjan Revolution.- Also gained a bit of rep for being an Expert Alchemist outside of his military accolades, usually helping fill bulk olders for medicinal supplies needed by various clientele.

Marius Skystone - Xaela companion who Saulden met during his tenure at an unknown castrum along the southern border in Garlemald. While initially met with hositlity, the Au Ra gradually warmed up to the Elezen's attempt at fair treatment, resulting in a firm bond between the two which strengthened following their escape and defection from the Empire.Danica Voss - A fiery Half-Elezen who enjoys teasing the reclusive Elezen whenever he comes out of his studies to actually explore the rest of what Eorzea has to offer. Though at times she scares him with her erratic behavior, Saulden has come to view her as another friend and ally he can rely on.Kingsley Solomon - Former colleague at the Hall of Flames. While Saulden used to report to the Highlander, the two stood as equals with their ranks and though the Elezen wouldn't admit it out loud, he viewed the elder Captain as an inspirational leader within the Immortal Flames given his courage and tenacity in combat.Aeric Laudrup - Fellow Flame Captain and one that fits in among the core group that has formed between Saulden, Kingsley and the info-broker. Though the Captain's way with words puts Saulden in a state of unease at times, he has formed a rather personal connection with him as being an aid with a few endeavors that Aeric is looking for answers in.Zara Jawantal - A Rava hailing from Ala Mhigo who is also one of his and Aeric's subordinates. While initially the Elezen was teased by the Viera for being lackluster and a rookie when it came to alchemical concoctions, the relationship gradually bloomed into something more than just professional, much to the amusement of the Rava's brother, Adam.
